Question by hallawayii: Are rugby strips allowed to be worn inside pubs in Dublin?
We are heading to Dublin tomorrow for the weekend and I have a 6 nations strip and my husband has a Scotland rugby top. Will we be able to wear them to the pub, or do the pubs ban colours during the game? Thanks!

Depends on the pub. Some places do have signs stating that no team jerseys are to be worn. I’d wear basic clothes to avoid being turned away anywhere, but it’s your choice.

Yes, they’ll all be in them. Go to Knightsbridge for the game, great craic. (in the Arlington Hotel, near O’Connel Bridge), its a bit of a kip, but great atmosphere for the match.
I’ll be there, practising my french., LOL. but I won’t be in a jersey
Rugby strips are always welcome in the pubs, especially on International Saturdays. If you are wearing a Scottish strip, it is a great way for strangers to approach you and engage in conversation. Win or lose, there is always great banter between the drinkers.
Enjoy the weekend, I hope France get a hiding tomorrow.
